At Sekolah Rendah Sathya Sai, the five Human Values of Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love, and Non Violence form the foundation of our approach to education and character development.
Truth refers to the understanding of our true self and our inner conscience. It goes beyond our name, appearance, gender, background, or the roles we play in life.
Students are encouraged to explore deeper questions such as Who am I? What is my purpose? and What gives meaning to my life?
Through reflection and self-awareness, students develop the courage to be sincere, honest, and true to themselves.
Right Conduct is the expression of Truth through our thoughts, words, and actions.
It encourages students to act appropriately according to the situation while showing responsibility, discipline, respect, and consideration for others.
Students learn to be present in each moment, think clearly, make responsible choices, and act with wisdom and care.
Peace is the sense of calmness, contentment, and harmony that develops within us.
It encourages students to develop self-control, patience, understanding, and emotional balance.
Students learn to pause, reflect, and respond calmly instead of allowing anger, worry, or conflict to control their actions.
Love is the pure and selfless feeling that inspires our thoughts, words, and actions.
It is expressed through kindness, compassion, empathy, understanding, and genuine concern for the wellbeing of others.
Students learn to appreciate differences, build meaningful relationships, and recognise the value and dignity of every individual.
Non Violence is the natural expression of Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, and Love.
It is practised not only by avoiding physical harm, but also through our thoughts, words, choices, and behaviour.
Students learn to communicate respectfully, resolve disagreements peacefully, care for others, and use resources responsibly.
At SRSS, the practice of Human Values is reflected through the harmony of Head, Heart, and Hands.
The Head represents our ability to think, understand, and make wise decisions.
The Heart represents our conscience, feelings, compassion, and inner values.
The Hands represent our actions and the way we put our understanding and values into practice.
